Our story

We moved to Volcán in 2023, a family ready to try something different in Panama. Looking around, we noticed a lack of specialty coffee in the area — a real need for a good roastery alongside a coffee shop focused on consistent quality and service. This became our goal in opening Accendo.

Accendo is Latin. It means to kindle, to enlighten, to make bright.

Our priority is quality, every time. We buy each coffee directly from the farm, connecting on a personal level with the producers and making sure they receive a fair price.

From our roasting facility in the heart of the Panama highlands, we strive for excellence, pouring our hearts and passions into each batch — and together, spreading the experience of Panama coffee across the world.
